Chattanooga Chill was started in response to the quickly increasing demand for Women's Lacrosse Programs in and around the Chattanooga, Tennessee Area.
Chattanooga Chill was started by Jason Ziegler, Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach at Girls Preparatory School in Chattanooga.
Jason grew up in Maryland and started playing recreational lacrosse as a child. His years of play include High School Lacrosse at North Harford High in Harford County, Md, College Lacrosse at Essex Community College in Baltimore Md, (Undergraduate Degree from Towson University Maryland), Maryland Club Lacrosse, and Atlanta Club Lacrosse. Jason has been playing lacrosse for over 35 years.
With a daughter playing lacrosse at Girls Preparatory School, and looking for opportunities to play lacrosse outside of the High School regular season, the only options were to travel to Atlanta or Nashville.
Chattanooga Chill's objective is to provide girls in Eastern Tennessee, North Georgia, and Northern Alabama an opportunity to play the game of lacrosse in a competitive and fun environment.
Chattanooga Women's Lacrosse Club is open to all players willing to travel to Chattanooga for practices and travel for team Tournaments.
